FIFA has finally confirmed the three-man standing for the men’s best award for the year 2018 season.Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo, Barcelona Lionel Messi and Liverpool defender Virgil van Dirk were the players presented by FIFA for the award.

Van Dirk won the best player in Europe ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi for powering Liverpool to the Champions League trophy in Madrid.The Liverpool defender remains in a strong position to contest against Ronaldo, who scored 28 goals last season and helped Juventus win Serie A, as well as Barcelona’s Messi, who netted 51 times in all competitions and won La Liga.
