Nigeria went into the match needing at least two unreplied goals to cancel their 0-1 loss to the Sudanese in the first leg on Thursday.

With this win, Nigeria has become the third nation after Zambia and host Egypt, to qualify for the 2019 Egypt U-23 AFCON which holds in November this year.
Nigeria is the defending champions of the tournament. The two finalists of the tournament will represent Africa at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
