Real Madrid is preparing to sign Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen, according to report.

Real Madrid wants the midfielder to sign a pre-contract with the club ahead of a move in January. Eriksen is in the final year of his contract and he has rejected a £200,000-a-week deal from Spurs in a bid to secure a move to Real Madrid in January or get him for free in the next summer.Real Madrid is also considering signing Mauricio Pochettino as Zinedine Zidane’s replacement at the Santiago Bernabeu.Los Blancos was in the race to sign the Denmark midfielder but Zidane prefers Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba but the deal to sign the French star did not materialize in the last summer transfer and he could be forced to consider other options with the Dane star available on the cheap or free compared to the World Cup winner who will cost Real Madrid some fortune.
