ALERT : ‘Armed Robbers Planning To Attack Banks In Abia State’ – Police Commissioner Raises Alarm

The Commissioner of Police in Abia State has raised an alarm over plans by armed robbers to attack financial institutions in the state, Igbere TV reports.

In a statement made available to Igbere TV on Saturday by Geoffrey Ogbonna, Police Public Relation Officer, urged financial institutions to put extra measures in protecting their institutions.

The police said Hoteliers and the general public should be watchful of whoever they are dealing business with and charged everyone with useful information on how to arrest the gang members to alert the police.

The Police revealed that the State government will give anyone with useful information on how to arrest the gang members will be given 5 million naira.
