Super Eagles star Emmanuel Dennis makes history during Club Brugge 2-2 against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night at Santiago Bernabeu.

The 21-year-old Nigeria international grabbed a brace to help the Belgians claim a crucial point at the home of the most successful club in the tournament. Dennis becomes the third Nigerian to score against Real Madrid in Champions League after James Obiorah for Lokomotiv Moscow in 2002-03 and Ayila Yussuf for Dynamo Kyiv in 2004-05.

The Yola-born second strike on the night elevated him into the elite band of only seven players who have scored multiple goals in a Champions League away match against Real Madrid, the others being Alessandro Del Piero, Alexandre Pato, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Lionel Messi, Dele Alli, Mario Mandzukic and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.Club Brugge, who are unbeaten in their last 15 outings, welcome Group A leaders PSG to Jan Breydel Stadium in their next European outing on October 22.
