Nigeria and Ghana get a tough draw for the Total U-23 Africa Cup of Nations to take place in Egypt.

Following the draw held in Alexandria on Wednesday night at the Haramlek Palace of Montaza Complex also acting as a qualifier for the Summer Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. The defending champions Nigeria were drawn in Group B with Cote d’Ivoire, South Africa and Zambia, while Ghana were also drawn alongside the host nation Egypt’s Pharaoh’s debutants Cameroon as well as Mali in Group A.The tournament is scheduled to take place from 8-22 November 2019 in the Egyptian capital and will see Group A hosting their games at the Cairo International Stadium and Group B at the Al Salam Stadium the venues use for last summer’s 32nd Africa Cup of Nations.

The top three teams of the Total U-23 Africa Cup of Nations will qualify to represent Africa at the Summer Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.
