On Wednesday, Nigeria hosted the Squirrels of Benin Republic in the African Cup of Nations Qualifiers AFCON at the Godswill Akpabio stadium, Uyo.

Benin had an early lead against the Super Eagles but Victor Osimhen in the 45th minute gave Nigeria an equalizer while Samuel Kalu sealed the victory in the second half with a second goal.

Following the victory, Italian club, AS Roma took time to celebrate the Nigerian Super Eagles via it pidgin Twitter handle.
