Mourinho Forces Players To Train After VERY Lengthy Flight
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has made his players undergo a training session after a long overnight flight from China.
The Red Devils team went straight to the club’s training ground for a two-hour training session after arriving back in England.
This comes after the Manchester derby scheduled to be played in China on Monday was cancelled due to poor weather conditions that made the pitch unplayable.
Although the Portuguese spoke highly of his players after they touched down, it appears Mourinho is unsatisfied with his performances so far in pre-season after a 4-1 defeat to Borussia Dortmund.
He said “They are a great group of boys and the intensity of the session shows they are very professional in their outlook.”
United’s next pre-season friendly will be against Galatasaray at Gothenburg on Saturday before returning to Old Trafford to play Everton in a testimonial match for English Striker, Wayne Rooney on August 3.
As the holders of the FA cup, the club will play Leicester City at Wembley on August 7 in the Community Shield to usher in the new season, then faces Bournemouth a week later.
