David Alaba plays Santa claus in Munich.
It was a great early Christmas gift for all Bayern fans on Sunday as David Alaba dressed up and surprised passers-by on the street of Munich with sweets and souvenir photos.

Although not everyone recognized the footballer immediately, most jumped for joy after realising it was David Alaba.
Why the action? Alaba explains: “As Santa Claus, it’s a little more relaxed to walk around the Christkindlmarkt.”

“At Christmas time you should share your joy. Even if it was just a small gesture, people and especially the children in downtown Munich were very happy. And I really had fun with it too.”

Alaba continues: “The support of our fans and followers in Munich is extremely important to us – we are happy to give something back at Christmas time.”
