Ahmed Makarfi inaugurates PDP National Executive Committee

Factional leader of PDP and Chairman of the party’s Caretaker committee, Ahmed Makarfi, has inaugurated the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party. According to the Caretaker Committee Chairman, formal inauguration of the NEC was necessary to enlarge the decision-making organ of the party. The inaugurated NEC members went into closed-door meeting shortly after his 5-minutes speech promising to brief the press after the meeting.
