Alhaji Kabiru Adjoto, the immediate past speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly on Tuesday gave reasons why the three-hour documentary he promised to release on the atrocities committed by Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, embattled National chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was delayed.

Adjoto, a long-time confidant of Oshiomhole, had said the documentary would be shown to the public on January 30 in Abuja.
He had also said the documentary would expose Oshiomhole’s “dirty malfeasance in his days as governor of Edo State.
Speaking in an exclusive chat with Daily Independent on Tuesday, Adjoto who is currently out of the country said he was prevailed upon by critical stakeholders in the party to suspend the documentary owing to efforts being made to reconcile members of the party in Edo state.
The APC chieftain who said a lot of consultations are going on said he alongside his team will issue a new date for the release of the documentary if the talks failed.

According to him “On the documentary on Oshiomhole, critical and very important stakeholders in APC intervened, and requested we tarry a while, a lot of consultations are going on. If the talks fail, then we would give a new date for the release of the documentary”.
