Burnley boss Dyche beats Solskjaer and Arteta to PL Manager of the Month for February.
Burnley manager claims award for second time after leading his team to unbeaten February and place in the top half.
Sean Dyche has been named the Barclays Manager of the Month for February.
Dyche claims the prize after going unbeaten during the month and leading Burnley into the top half of the table.
In between draws with Arsenal and Newcastle United, the Clarets beat Southampton and AFC Bournemouth.
Dyche says winning at St Mary’s Stadium with an injury-hit attack was the highlight of the month, even if he will not fully enjoy his award until the end of the season.
“The most important of the four results was probably Southampton,” said Dyche after winning the award for the second time in his career.
“They were on a good run and we lost a player in [Chris Wood] Woody early on, put [Matej Vydra] Vyds on and it paid off.”
‘I enjoy it more than you think!’
“The Premier League is unforgiving. It’s not a case of not enjoying the moments but I reflect on them and then park them pretty quickly.
“I’m always looking at the end of the season, where you finish and not the journey within it. But I do enjoy it more than people think!”
Dyche adds to his award from March 2018 after votes from the public were combined with those of a panel of football experts.
The 48-year-old saw off challenges from fellow nominees Mikel Arteta, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Chris Wilder.
