Arsenal star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is prepared to quit at the end of the season and the Gunner chiefs have set a high asking price for the Barcelona target.

Arsenal has demanded £50million for the services of the 30-year-old striker who joined the club in the summer of 2018 from Borussia Dortmund in a deal worth £57million.

Aubameyang has been sensational since his arrival from Borussia Dortmund and in his 97 appearances for Arsenal, the Gabon international scored 61 goals in all competitions.

The former AC Milan striker is not willing to sign a new deal with the Gunners and Barcelona has shown interest in his services since January after Luis Suarez sustained an injury.

Barcelona is keen on signing a centre forward this summer and Aubameyany is willing to offer a come and get me plea to the Catalan team, which simply means he won’t welcome any deal from Arsenal in the future.

Arsenal has told Barcelona the amount they need to pay to see Aubameyang don the famous red and blue jersey of Barcelona next season.

Aubameyang wants a team that competes in the Champions League and Arsenal is looking unlikely to qualify for the Champions League.

Aubameyang representatives are keen on meeting Arsenal to reduce the asking price or risk the player working away from the Emirate on free-transfer.
