No Player Or Coach ‘Earns More Than Messi & Simeone Respectively This Season’






No player or coach has had a higher income this season than Lionel Messi and Diego Simeone, respectively.

Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo is the second highest-paid player in the world, followed by Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar.

According to France Football, Messi has earned 131 million euros comprising of his gross salary, bonuses and advertising revenue.

The Argentine, who is earning one million euros more than last season, has been in the top three highest-paid players since 2013.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo’s income has increased to 118m euros, Neymar has made 95m euros and Antoine Griezmann occupies the fourth place of the list with 38.5m euros.

Without taking into account advertising revenues, France Football estimates Simeone’s income at 40.5m euros.

The Atletico Madrid coach is followed by Inter tactician Antonio Conte (30m euros) and Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola (27.5m euros).
