Former Golden Eaglets striker Terem Moffi pays emotional tribute to his mum during the coronavirus period.
The 20-year-old Kortrijk star who has been an instant hit in Belgium since arriving from Lithuanian first division side FK Riteriai 150,000 Euros in the January transfer window where he scored four goals in seven matches.
Moffi said via the club Facebook post: “Dear mum, when I was a little child, you took care of me and you protected me,” the striker revealed in a Facebook post by his Belgian club.
“When I started playing football, you supported me and now when I score you are so proud of me.
“When I celebrate with the fans, you are the happiest person in the world.
“But in this difficult period, you are far away and I can’t visit you.
“I miss you mum.”
Moffi was voted Player of the Month for March will also call on the fans to come together at this unprecedented time in world history.
