Zidane currently has 37 first team players but the Frenchman intends to cut it to 25 for next term with n12 of which are currently out on loan and knows he must get rid of some when the transfer window reopens.
According to the Daily Star claim that the 1998 FIFA World Cup winner has identified a dozen players who he would definitely try to offload in 2020 summer.
Dani Ceballos who is spending the season on loan at Arsenal but the midfielder looks unlikely to force his way back into the fold at the Bernabeu.
James Rodriguez and Gareth Bale, both big earners at the Bernabeu, are also likely to be available for transfer in the coming months.
Luka Modric and Lucas Vazquez’s deals also run out in 2021, putting them at risk of being forced out.
Mariano did not quite fit the job description with four goals in 19 appearances last year saw him dumped with the No24 shirt this time around as Eden Hazard claimed No7.
