Nigerian star Yusuf Lawal to get $25,000 financial compensation after his Belgian club Lokeren announced they are bankrupt.

The 22-year-old winger made 13 appearances for Lokeren before the league was suspended due to coronavirus outbreak worldwide

Lawal and rest of the squad could also go to court to press for his claims after been without salary for several months due to the poor finances of Lokeren.

The former 36 Lion winger is now effectively a free agent, which means he could join any other club following the collapse of Lokeren.

He joined the Belgian side in the 2017-18 season.
