Chelsea’s foreign stars who flocked overseas to spend the coronavirus lockdown with their families are now back in the UK.

The club had requested that the players return to London as the club prepare for training at Cobham to start up again, and now the likes of Willian, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Christian Pulisic have now come back.

The Premier League was suspended in March after Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta and Chelsea star Callum Hudson-Odoi tested positive for the disease, leaving a host of matches postponed and forcing players to train at home.

Some foreign players had agreed with Chelsea that they could spend time with their families as the coronavirus pandemic quickly halted sport globally. Many countries worldwide are on lockdown, so the likes of Pedro, Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmeiri all left the country to join loved ones.

But according to the Telegraph, those overseas stars have now returned after the club requested they fly back by Sunday.

Midfielder Willian, who faces an uncertain future in the coming weeks with his contract expiring in June, posted a story on his Instagram of him relaxing at his UK flat with a London flag included. He had travelled to his native Brazil to be with his wife and children.

His picture showed him relaxing while watching TV and playing video games.
