Former Roma youngster Joseph Bouasse Perfection died at the age of 21 last night after suffering a heart attack.
The midfielder from Cameroon never played for Roma but was picked up by the Giallorossi one and a half years after having been on trial at Trigoria.
Bouasse died at 21 last night of sudden cardiac arrest, three months after having joined U Cluj in the second tier of Romanian football, and was the last signing made by Walter Sabatini before the former sporting director stepped down from his role at Trigoria.
Bouasse trained with the first team, including players like Francesco Totti and Daniele De Rossi, on many occasions and appeared 11 times for Roma’s youth team.
He had a six-month spell on loan at Vicenza in 2017 before his contract at Roma expired in 2018.
Bouasse moved to Universitatea Cluj in Romania in February 2020.
