Manchester United’s players have delighted the medical staff at the club after returning fit and healthy, according to reports.
The Red Devils made their long-awaited return to Carrington last week after months in lockdown due to the coronavirus outbreak.
And despite being isolated for two months, not a single player has reported back overweight which has thrilled fitness personnel at the club, according to The Sun.
In fact, some players, including David De Gea, have even returned lighter than before having done less weight training than before the outbreak.
The report suggests that conditioning staff are ‘chuffed to bits’ that each and every player has looked after themselves while in lockdown at home.
United are now concentrating on cardio sessions in training while adhering to social distancing measures.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his backroom team are hoping to return to ‘normal’ training soon as they fear the squad could lose muscle if weighted training isn’t introduced soon.
United were back at training on Tuesday as they continue to get ready for the Premier League’s potential restart next month.
United supporters also received more good news on Tuesday when Solskjaer confirmed that Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford would be ready to make a return once the action gets back underway.
Pogba has made only eight appearances all season due to a foot injury that required surgery, with the France midfielder having been out of action since Boxing Day.
Rashford last played on January 15 when he limped out of an FA Cup tie against Wolves at Old Trafford, and the England striker was later diagnosed with a double fracture in his back.
However, both men have been back in training with the rest of the United squad for a week, and Solskjaer believes they will be fit to play when the Premier League season resumes in a few weeks.
‘They’re looking good,’ said the United boss. ‘They’ve joined training now and they’ve done everything the other boys have been doing. No reaction so far, touch wood. When we get started, it looks like we can have a full squad to choose from.’
Solskjaer also believes that the squad is ready to move up to the next level of training if Premier League clubs vote to enter phase two of the restart programme this week.
‘We’re back in training which has been great,’ added Solskjaer. ‘The boys have been fantastic, the weather’s been good and they’ve enjoyed it.
‘Hopefully now we’ve proved we can do this safely and we can move to the next step. It’s been really enjoyable being on the training ground again.
‘Everyone’s looking sharp, everyone’s been in with a good mood and we’ve been splitting up in groups so [working in] fours and fives together and they’ve really done well. Hopefully, they can as I said, step up and go to bigger training groups but so far it’s been good.
‘The players have been looking after themselves. They’ve done well. Charlie [Owen] the fitness coach, Kieran [McKenna], Michael [Carrick] and Martyn [Pert] have been on to them all the time. They’ve not had many days off!
‘There have been video calls and of course the last couple of weeks they’ve been stepping it up.
‘That’s what you do when you’re a footballer, you just want to play football. Of course, the first step now has been coming together, obviously in small groups, but they’ve enjoyed that.
‘I think when we start training in full groups, of course we need a bit of time to gel again, but they’re mentally ready and physically they look okay too.’
