Serie A giants Napoli want another Super Eagles player of Emmanuel Denis after Lille striker Victor Osimhen rejected a move to San Paolo Stadium in the upcoming transfer window.

The 22-year-old Nigeria international stock rose this season after he enjoyed fine performances with Club Brugge against Real Madrid in the Champions League and Manchester United in the Europa League with has caught the eye of Premier League teams.

According to Daily Mail report that Napoli has now shifted their attention to Dennis who scored nine goals in 33 appearances as Club Brugge clinch Belgian Pro League title again for the second time in three years.

However, the Serie A giants with face stiff competition from Mikel Arteta who is preparing for his first summer transfer window as Arsenal’s manager with Newcastle United, Brighton, Sheffield United, Watford, Monaco and Sampdoria are also eyeing a move for Super Eagles rising star.

Dennis’ considerably cheaper transfer fee presents a viable alternative for Napoli, who are looking to bolster their attacking ranks next season should the likes of Lorenzo Insigne, Dries Mertens or Hirving Lozano leave this summer.  

The Nigeria international has played 103 games for Club Brugge since joining in 2017 from Zorya Luhansk, scoring 28 goals and providing 10 assists.
