More Scammers Discovered In Benue (What They Did Will Shock You)

More fraud has been uncovered in the disbursement of 10 million Naira released by the Benue state Government to the leadership of the Independent Print-media Publishers Association Of Nigeria (IPPAN) as part payment for publication of LG projects during the previous administration.

Investigation has shown that some of the publishers who benefited from the payment recycled old editions of their Newspapers and inserted the pullout containing the supliment and submitted the copy for payment.

Others published only 20, 50, 100 and the highest 200 copies while some publishers did computer printouts.

It was also gathered that the fellow who vehemently insisted that The Target Newsmagazine that circulated over 1000 copies of edition containing the projects publication, should not be paid did not publish at all but he was paid because of his position as Exco member.

The Exco in their proposal to the Governor submit a bill of one million Naira par publisher for 30 publishers.
When the part payment was released, 22 publishers got 400,000.00 while eight were shortchanged and paid 100.000 only.
