German attacker Timo Werner has revealed why he chose Chelsea over other clubs, according to report in The Daily Star.

The new Blues signing will arrive this summer but would not be allowed to play until the next season as the current season is yet to be concluded.

Weber has been linked with a host of the club but he preferred a move to Chelsea and he has revealed why he join the Stamford Bridge outfit.

He also outlined that in talks Lampard “often emphasized how much he wanted me, how much he valued me as a person”.

Chelsea defeated Leicester City on Sunday in the FA Cup to advance to the semi-finals where they will play Ole Gunnar Soldkjaer’s men.
