A fresh report from Italy revealed that Torino are already dreaming of cashing in a whooping sum of €9.8m (over N4.3bn)  if Ola Aina eventually join a new club in the summer.

Tuttomecartowebb reported that the Super Eagles left full-back is occupying the top spot in the pecking order of players West Ham intend to sing in the summer to beef up the squad.

Indeed, Everton is also reported to have joined the race to land the Nigerian international and Torino hope the deal would see the light of the day and provide Torino with the much needed financial muscle ahead of 2020/2021 Seria A season.

Torino sporting director, Davide Vagnati, hopes that an auction can be reached in no time to ensure the Chelsea youngster get more playing time.

The idea of the Bull is to cash out at least the € 9.8 million paid into Chelsea coffers at the time of his purchase, for a player who could also be sacrificed at the end of the season.

Already, Torino are already monitoring River Plate’s Argentina international right-back Gonzalo Montiel with a view to a transfer in the summer.

And if the deal should go through, Aina could find himself down the pecking order in the battle for a starting shirt next season.

Torino paid 9.8 million euros to sign him permanently from Chelsea last summer but he is now rated at eight million euros, making him the most valuable Nigerian defender, according to Transfermarkt.

Aina showed glimpses of his potential last season for club and country, making 22 starts in the Serie A and going the distance in five matches for the Super Eagles at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

The 23-year-old has not really enjoyed a prominent role for the Maroons this term, with only 15 starts from a possible 26 in the Italian top-flight.
