Chelsea fans will be delighted to the news that midfield powerhouse, N’Golo Kante may be fit for the FA Cup semifinal showdown against Manchester United.

The French World Cup winner has missed the Blues’ last two matches and after the abysmal showing against Sheffield United where they were pummeled 3-0 – Frank Lampard will hope his boys can bounce back.

Although, Kante has returned to training after an injury layoff – Tuesdays match against already relegated Norwich City may come too early for the former Leicester City midfielder but he is likely to face the Red Devils at the weekend.

“He is not fit for Norwich,” said Lampard. “But he has a chance for the semi-final.”

On facing already relegated Norwich City, Lampard said: “We have to treat them with utmost respect. Wounded animal or whatever you want to call it, but they have quality players who have played very well in a lot of games this season where they can count themselves unfortunate not to get results. We will expect a very tough game.”
