Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial on target in the vital win as Manchester United beat Crystal Palace 2-0 in the Premier League encounter at Selhurst Park on Thursday night to push for Champions League next season.

Palace had the better start and David de Gea was called to make a save early on.

Harry Maguire wasted a few chances before Manchester United got the lead at the stroke of half-time through England international Rashford to take his tally to 22 goals in all competitions.

Jordan Ayew leveled things for Palace but VAR ruled out the goal after it appeared his toe was inches off.

Rashford then fed Martial, who scored a superb goal to his  17th Premier League goal of the season with both strikers have now assisted one another a combined seven times in the Premier League this season. This is the most of any pairing in a single season for Manchester United.

The Red Devils are now back level on points with Leicester and a point behind Chelsea before facing the Blues in an FA Cup semi-final on Sunday.
