Timothy Fosu-Mensah is set to be given an opportunity to prove himself for Manchester United, the Manchester Evening News reports.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been impressed with the player’s attitude in training and handed him game time against Crystal Palace – his first appearance for the club in nearly four years. 

German clubs retain an interest in the player, who is contracted to United for another year.
