Arsenal target Thomas Partey is a huge doubt for Atletico Madrid Champions League clash against RB Leipzig due to a muscle injury.

The midfielder strained his thigh in the clash against Real Sociedad in their last La Liga outing and he is facing a race to be fit against time to face the Bundesliga outfit.

The Ghanian midfielder has been sensational for the Madrid based club having helped the Rojiblancos to since third in the La Liga after a slow start to the season.

Partey has combined well with the likes of Saul and Koke in the Atletico Madrid midfield in the past seasons, the versatile player featured in 46 games this season, scoring four goals and giving one assist.

The Ghanaian midfielder is on the radar of Arsenal but he is still in Diego Simeone’s plan and the club is planning to renew his contract this summer but he is keen on securing a move to England to play in the Premier League.
