Lampard desperate for defensive improvement

Chelsea have scouted Atletico Madrid defender Jose Gimenez, according to the Telegraph.

Frank Lampard is desperate to improve his back line, with the Blues having the worst defensive record in the top half of the Premier League.

However, it is claimed Chelsea will have to sell one of their current defenders if they are to bring a new one in.
