Barcelona has completed the signing of highly-rated Brazilian attacker Gustavo Maia from Sao Paulo, according to report in Marca.

The 19-year-old forward was signed for €4.5 million and he would immediately team up with the Barcelona B team for the next season.

Maia signed a five year deal with Barcelona and has a release clause of  €300 million, the transfer fee is understood to be in two instalments, the transfer fee is understood to be in two instalments, the first being one million euros, which has already been paid, and the second due is 3.5 million euros.

Barcelona is also interested in the services of Paris Saint-Germain attacker Neymar and Inter Milan attacker Lautaro Martinez this summer.

The club is expected to carry out massive clear-out and the end of the current campaign in a bid to fund their transfers this summer.
