Thomas Tuchel launched a stinging verbal tirade at RB Leipzig’s fitness coach because the Paris Saint-Germain boss reportedly heard some choice words towards his players.
Tuchel and Daniel Behlau clashed after PSG beat Leipzig 3-0 to reach the Champions League final.
The German coach was involved in a furious bust-up on the pitch as the video below shows him angrily pointing at Behlau before unleashing a volley of abuse.Advert
PSG players Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Thilo Kehrer watched on sheepishly as Tuchel pulled no punches.
“Everything you shouted, it’s a shame you don’t admit it,” he said, to which the Leipzig man replied: “Congratulations.”
According to journalist Chris Williams, a faint audible shout of “you f**king p**sy” in German from Leipzig’s bench was heard.
Speaking after his side’s triumph in Lisbon, he said: “It was between me and Julian.
“That is okay between two head coaches but then a third person interfered. I didn’t like that but it has since been sorted out.”
Julian Nagelsmann said: “We fouled a lot, you can see that statistically. That wasn’t planned, we just often came too late into challenges.
“He complained because he wanted to protect his players. That’s all normal. I think we had 34 fouls at the end of the day so you can say something.”Advert
Meanwhile, PSG will face either Lyon or Bayern Munich in the Champions League final on Sunday.
