EFCC reportedly arrest and detain brother of former Akwa Ibom state governor, Godswill Akpabio

EFCC operatives have reportedly arrested the younger brother of former Akwa Ibom state gobernor now Senator, Godswill Akpabio, Ibanga Akpabio, over allegations of fraud.

According to Sahara Reporters, Ibanga who is currently the Deputy Chairman of PDP in Akwa Ibom state is facing separate investigations over his mismanagement and embezzlement of Akwa Ibom state fund.

EFCC sources say that Ibanga was arrested and detained at the Port Harcourt office for allegedly defrauding a member of the Federal House of Representatives, Robinson Uwak.

He is also being interrogated over allegations of fraud and money laundering.
