Police operatives from SARS have been caught on tape brutalizing a motorist in broad daylight.

A video has surfaced showing men of the Special Anti-robbery Squad of the Nigeria police brutally assaulting a Nigerian man with weapons in Lagos. 

The video was posted by Omoyele Sowore. This comes after the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu banned SARS from conducting stop and search and indiscriminately arresting citizens. 

In the video, the operatives could be seen wielding weapons as they assaulted the motorist. 

Sharing the video, Sowore wrote: 

“notorious #SARS unit they reportedly bingo banned last week is here on rampage in Lagos! They can fool some people sometimes but can’t fool everyone all the time!#EndSARSNotBanSARS #Nogoingback #RevolutionNow.”
