Ahead of the friendly match against Tunisia, the Super Eagles duo of William Troost-Ekong and Samuel Kalu will not feature in the match scheduled for Austria, according to reports.

Bordeaux winger Samuel Kalu picked up an injury during the 1-0 defeat against African champions Algeria while Super Eagles Assistant Captain William Troost-Ekong has returned to his base in England.

Ekong, who just joined English Championship side Watford had a poor game against the Desert Foxes on Friday but it was not clear if he suffered any injury or picked any knock.

However, Kalu, who has also returned to France was confirmed to have picked up a knock but not expected to keep him out for a long period of time.

Both players started against Algeria and while Ekong played for 90minutes, Kalu was replaced early in the second half by Moses Simon.
