Super Eagles striker Simmy Nwankwo is the latest to show his solidarity to the movement seeking an end to police brutality in Nigeria.
The 28-year old walk-the-talk when he celebrated his first goal of the season by raising a T-shirt to show his support for an end to police brutality in Nigeria.
The Nigerian striker scored in the 11th minute as his team Crotone were forced to a 1-1 draw by Juventus.
Even though the goal scored by Simmy was not enough to give Crotone the victory they rarely might have dreamt off, it was enough to get them their first point since gaining promotion to the Serie A from Serie B.
On Saturday also, Victor Osimhen also showed solidarity for calls to end police brutality in Nigeria after he scored his official maiden goal for Napoli in their 4-1 thumping of Atalanta.
The Nigeria international also raised a T-shirt with the inscription End Police Brutality in Nigeria.
The likes of Antonio Rudiger, Tammy Abraham, Frederic Kanoute, Ian Wright, Mesut Ozil, Marcus Rashford at different times have all lent their voices to support the scrapping of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, a unit of the Nigeria Police Force.
