West Bromwich Albion battled to a goalless draw against struggling Burnley in the Maych-Day 5 of the premier league with Super Eagles defender Semi Ajayi benched for 90minutes.

Baggies manager Slaven Bilic preferred the experience of Branislva Ivanovic to the Nigerian and the former Chelsea defender made a decent debut as he helped the team to a clean sheet.

The best chance of the match fell to the visitor’s striker, Ashley Barnes but his shot from inside the box was tipped for a corner by Sam Johnstone in goal for the home side as it ended 0-0.

It was Burnley’s first point of the season as they sit 18th on the premier league log while West Brom are currently placed 17th with just two points. West Brom will face in-form Tottenham Hotspur in their next match.
