Paris Saint-Germain attacker Kylian Mbappe has heap praises on Chelsea defender Thiago Silva, according to report.

Silva left Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent to Chelsea after the Champions League final against Bayern Munich.

The veteran defender spent eight with the Ligue 1 Champions and the last three seasons was spent with the World Cup winner.

When Mbappe was asked about his best centre defender in Paris Saint-Germain colour quoted by Le 10 Sport stated: “Central defenders? Thiago Silva and Mario Yepes.

“Thiago Silva because for me he is the best defender in the history of the club with everything he has brought.
“He stayed a long time here.”

Silva was a huge success in France he won seven Ligue 1 titles was a five-time Coupe de France winner and a six-time Coupe de la Ligue winner.

Yepes donned the colour of the Ligue 1 outfit for four years between 2004 and 2008 before Mbappe’s time at the club.
