Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen is a huge doubt for Napoli’s clash with Zlatan Ibrahimovich’s AC Milan on Sunday following the injury he picked up while representing Nigeria.

The former Golden Eaglets star was involved for 74 minutes during the shocking 4-4 draw against Sierra Leone in the Match-Day 3 of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers in Benin and went of injured with a suspected shoulder dislocation.

According to SportItalia reports the injury is not serious but the Partenopei are concerned, which was the major reason why they recalled him to Naples for further test to know the extent of damage on the striker.

SportItalia journalist Alfredo Pedulla reveals that Osimhen will arrive at Castel Volturno on Tuesday to be assessed ahead of the Serie A match against the league leaders AC Milan.

Osimhen has scored only twice for Napoli in the Serie A since his big money signing from Ligue 1 side Lille. Napoli are currently placed third with 14 points. Nigeria will face the Sierra Leone in Free Town on Tuesday without Osimhen.
