Somtochukwu Odimegwu, popularly known by his Stage name as Somie, is a fast rising Afropop/AfroHighlife Musician. Hails from Abatete in Anambra State. Somie grew up and found himself loving music both in singing, dancing and in creation of music.

This made him to be a multi-instrumentalist playing different instruments like piano, bass guitar, percussions and drums. He went professional into music in 2019 when he released his debut single titled “E No Matter”. Throway is his 6th and last record release for the year 2020 after dropping songs “Forever”, “Coffee Sisi”, “Wasn’t Easy”, “Say No” and “Bow To You”.

“Throway” is a mid-tempo Afropop song where Somie tells guys to stick to the lady that has been there for them through hard times and get away with those that claim to love just because of the money. The song was mixed and mastered by Somie.
