Fayose Kickstarts Payment Of N10m Revolving Loan To Tailors (Photos)

Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose on Tuesday fulfilled his promise of making #10m revolving loan available to Ekiti State tailors as he distributed cheques to some beneficiaries at a meeting organized for the fashion designers at the Government House Arcade in Ado Ekiti.
The governor who said the gesture is part of the state’s social security scheme aimed at making life better for the citizenry urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the soft loan even as they ensure prompt repayment so others can benefit.
“The loan is to empower them in a little way, I made this promise 6 months ago and we are formally implementing it today, it is a #10m revolving loan for tailors, next year again by the grace of God I will support them the more, over 1000 people will be beneficiaries, after a moratorium period, they will start paying back about #500 a week so that others too can benefit”, the governor said.
