Boko Haram Kidnaps Abubaka Gaba Idrils ‘Alooma’ UN Staff In Borno



Boko Haram fighters have abducted staff of United Nations (UN) along Damaturu – maiduguri road Born state.

Held captive is Abubaka Gaba Idrils, aka Alooma, a senior protection Assistant with UN High Commissioner for refugees (UNHCR).

The terrorist ambushsd vehicles conveying commuters near Matari village between Minok Jakana Highway.

One of the them, Alooma was seized around 8.30.a.m on Saturday.

A source told PRNigeria the terrorist, in military uniform, mounted a road block with three Hilux pickup trucks and motorcycles.

The witness said”, while searching the passengers, Idris attempted to throw away his ID card but one of the insurgents sights him. He was then asked to step down from the vehicle along with two other passengers, while the rest of the passengers were ask to continue with their journey.

The two passengers were later released on the ground that they are poor people and have no used to the abducted.
