Manchester City defeated Chelsea 3-1 at the Stamford Bridge in their Premier League clash on Sunday.

Chelsea press high but their attack was marred with series of poor passes, though Manchester City maintained a perfect defence line to ensure the host never done any many damaged in the opening 15 minutes.

The first opportunity fell on the path of Manchester City but Kevin de Bruyne narrowly missed the chance.

Manchester City made up for the lost chance with a perfect twist from Ilkay Gundogan in the heart of Chelsea defence and unleashed a perfect shot that was out of the reach of goalkeeper Mendy in the 18th minute.

Pep Guardiola brought in Fernandinho to replace Gundogan in the 74th minute in a bid to add more solidity to the midfield.

Hudson -Odoi scored a consolation goal to make it 3-1 for the Blues in the additional time of the match.
