Aston Villa are closing in on the signing of Morgan Sanson from Marseille having agreed a fee with the Ligue 1 club, Sky Sports reports.

The Premier League side will pay an initial £14 million ($19m) for the midfielder, with the Frenchman expected to arrive in England next week to finalise the switch.
