Los Blancos director Jorge Valdano admits Kylian Mbappe is further from Real Madrid than ever before
Real Madrid main target is Mbappe after the exit of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus but Valdano believes that the PSG attacker is further away from the Los Merengues.

Mbappe put up a mesmerising show against Barcelona in the Champions League with a hattrick at Camp Nou, where he guided the Ligue 1 Champions to a 4-1 win over the Catalan giants.

“He [Mbappe] has the personality to demonstrate his quality on the biggest stage and in the most important matches,” Valdano explained.

“After tonight, Mbappe is further from Real Madrid than ever before. He can ask for a €30 million salary, the same as Neymar, and only PSG can offer that amount.”

Valdano has now cast doubt on Real Madrid signing the World Cup winner and he went on to dismiss any move from PSG for Lionel Messi as there is little motive according to the former Real Madrid sporting director.

“I don’t see PSG very interested right now in swapping Mbappe for Messi. Mbappe changed the scale of values ​​tonight.”

Real Madrid will take a trip to Italy to face Atalanta next week.
