Former Kaduna Senator, Shehu Sani has warned the federal government against abusing the rights of the leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu following his re-arrest.

According to Sani, the government must ensure that all his rights are respected.
“The fundamental rights of Nnamdi Kanu should be respected in compliance with the relevant articles of the constitution of the FRN.”
“His trial should be guided by justice, fairness and the rule of law and not sentiments, prejudice, hate, ill feelings, vengeance or bigotry.” Shehu tweeted.
Recall that the federal government on Tuesday afternoon confirmed the arrest and extradition on Kanu.
He was also ordered to be remanded in the custody of the Department of State Security following his arraignment before Justice Binta Nyarko.
