Governor Mohammed Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa State has stated that the recent defections to the All Progressives Congress, APC is an indication that the party will form the government at the federal, state and local government levels.

Badaru disclosed this at a rally in Gusau after officially accepting Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle into the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He said the mass defections into the APC is a warning signal to the opposition parties across the country come 2023.

“Mass defections to the party is a clear indication that the APC will form the government at the federal, states and local government levels”

He said the decision to join the APC by Nigerians shows that they are comfortable with the policies and leadership of President Muhammad Buhari’s administration.
