Arsenal are planning to hijack Tottenham’s move for Bologna defender Takehiro Tomiyasu – according to Tuttosport.

The Gunners want to bring in the 22-year-old for around €20 million (£17m/$23m) before the summer window closes.

Tomiyasu made 31 Serie A appearances for Bologna last term, and still has three years left on his current contract.
