Caleb Esu has been appointed to the technical crew of Enyimba Football Club.

The appointment comes as the People’s Elephant reconstitute their coaching department ahead of the 2021/22 season.

Following the departure of Fatai Osho as head coach in August, the eight times Nigerian champions are expected to appoint a new helmsman in the coming days but have in the meantime drafted Esu to be part of the new set-up.

Esu joins Enyimba having previously held the helm at Dakkada FC.

It was with Dakkada that the CAF Licence A holder shot into recognition when he led the Uyo club to a top half table finish in their first season in the top flight.
