Fashion designer Tom Ford’s husband, Richard Buckley is dead.

Buckley passed away of “natural causes” after 35 years of marriage.

His death was confirmed by Ford’s team in a statement.

Part of the statement read: “It’s with great sadness that Tom Ford announces the death of his beloved husband of 35 years, Richard Buckley.

“Richard passed away peacefully at their home in Los Angeles with Tom and their son Jack by his side.”

The couple started dating in 1986 after they met at a fashion show.

After 28 years together, the couple finally decided to tie the knot in 2014 just after same-sex marriage was legalised in the United States.

The couple welcomed their son, Alexander John Buckley Ford in Los Angeles on September 23, 2012.
