During the deadly attack, three others reportedly sustained gunshot injuries.

At least three persons have been killed after gunmen suspected to be bandits attacked Hukke village of Miango in Irigwe chiefdom, Bassa Local Government area of Plateau state. 

The tragic incident took place on Monday.

A statement by the Secretary – General of Irigwe Development Association, (IDA), Mr Danjuma Auta, identified the deceased as: Barry Ive 42; Isaiah Gado 45; and Weyi Chohu 40. He added those three injured include Bosco Gbere 50; Barnabas Lundi 20; and Moses Bombo 28. 

But when contacted, the spokesman of Plateau Police Command, ASP, Gabriel Ubah, told The Nation: “l’m in a meeting now. l will get back to you”.
